Unga ung. So tired. Victoria and her boyfriend Tyler are here, they are the sweetest thing! I don't understand why so many of my closest friends have to live so far away, it's kind of a bummer. But I love how easily pleased the two of them are, it's adorable. They love my backyard and apple butter and my cat. They make me feel like I'm doing a good job.

We went to NYC (and space) earlier this weekend. Many adventures, many foods eaten. I am getting fat, no joke. I already was, but our trip to the city didn't help. JAS Mart on 23rd is closing and everything was 30% off, so we bought up all their weeaboo food and tea.

We also took one of those double-decker bus tours downtown and I actually learned a lot about New York that I didn't know! So it was very fun. We braved Chinatown too, which I'd been too scared to do during the school year. Worth it! Friday night we went to the MoMA and left confused and angry. I don't know, half of the stuff in there was like WHAAAT THE FUUUCK? I know everyone says "I could do that" and the appropriate response is "Well you didn't so stfu" but seriously WHAAAT. This piece was the cherry on top of our MoMA experience.

One of our cab drivers was named Butt.

I found this guy in the yard today after Nessa had picked him up and thrown him around. He has a puncture wound closer to his tail and he was looking pretty dead, so I put him in a box and left him to warm up under a lamp. He's moving around a bit now and seems to want out, but he's still bleeding a little.

I wish I could sneak animals into my dorm :( I think it's still too cold outside to let him go, and he'll probably fall victim to our neighbor's lawnmower. Or my dog again. OH, CRUEL FATE~

I let him go :) The last time I went out to check on him he was already making a getaway. The moment I touched him and tried to pick him up he was all "FUK U GAIZ" and made off into a pile of leaves.
